Terms of service
The agreement between you and us. Short, in plain language, and honest about the one thing a packing app cannot promise.

1. Who we are
PackyGo is operated by Dunatos Software [LEGAL FORM], registered in the Netherlands under Chamber of Commerce number [KvK NUMBER]. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Dunatos Software, and "you" means whoever is using PackyGo.
By creating an account or using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use PackyGo — there is nothing to cancel and nothing to pay.
2. What PackyGo is
PackyGo builds packing lists. You say who is going, describe the trip, and it works out a list for each traveler — adults, children and pets — with quantities scaled to the number of days. Everyone in a family shares the same trips and sees check-offs as they happen.
The service is free. There is no paid tier, no trial, no card, and no feature waiting behind a paywall. If that ever changes, it will not change retroactively for lists you have already made.
3. Your account
You need an account to build lists. You can create one with an email address and a password, or by signing in with Google or Facebook.
Keep your password to yourself, and tell us at support@dunatossoftware.nl if you think someone else has got into your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
One account belongs to one person. You must be 16 or older to create one. Adults add the rest of the household as travelers, which needs no account of their own.
4. Families and the invite link
A family is the unit PackyGo shares things in. Every member of a family can see and edit that family's travelers, trips, lists and library. There are no per-member permissions and no read-only role: if someone is in your family, they have the same access you do.
The invite link is a permanent shared secret. It does not expire and it is not tied to one recipient — anyone who has it can join your family and see everything in it, whoever they got it from. Share it the way you would share a door key, not the way you would post a link.
If you invite someone by email, you are confirming you may give us that address for the purpose of sending them one invitation.
5. Your content
Your lists are yours. Traveler names, trips, custom items, notes, anything you import — you keep every right you had in it, and we claim no ownership.
You give us permission to store and process that content for one purpose: running PackyGo for you. That means saving it, showing it to the other members of your family, and putting it through the parts of the system described in our privacy policy. We will not publish it, and we will not sell it.
You are responsible for what you put in. Only add other people's details — including your own family's — if you are entitled to.
6. Lists are suggestions
A generated list is a helpful starting point, not a guarantee. PackyGo works from rules and from what you told it about the trip. It does not know about your medication, your visa, your child's allergy, your car's spare-tyre law or the ferry's pet paperwork.
Check the list before you travel. Anything genuinely important — documents, medicines, legal requirements, anything a person needs to be safe — is your call and your responsibility, not the app's. We are not liable for something you forgot, whether or not PackyGo suggested it.
The same goes for our ready-made example lists. They are illustrations of what the app produces, not travel advice.
7. Imports and fair use
The import feature turns a packing list you already have — a spreadsheet, a document, a note, a Google Doc or Sheet — into reusable rules in your library. It shows you a preview of every proposed rule before anything is saved.
Each account gets one import. Importing costs us money per file, which is the whole reason for the limit. If you need another, there is a button on the import page to ask, and we will normally say yes.
Import only files you are allowed to. Do not use the importer to move someone else's copyrighted material into PackyGo, and do not automate it.
8. What you may not do
- Break into, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or try to reach data that is not yours.
- Use PackyGo to store or send anything unlawful, abusive, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Create accounts automatically, or work around the import limit with extra accounts.
- Resell the service or pass it off as your own.
If you do any of this we may suspend or delete the account, and where the law requires it we will report it.
9. Affiliate links
Some items on a packing list carry a link to buy the thing. Those are Amazon affiliate links: if you buy something after following one, we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you.
It changes nothing about what appears on your list. Items are suggested by the packing rules, never because one earns more than another, and we take no payment from anyone to have a product recommended.
10. Availability and changes
PackyGo is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, free of bugs, or unchanged from one month to the next. Features may be added, altered or withdrawn, and the service may go down for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.
You can stop using PackyGo at any time and ask us to delete your account — see the privacy policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we may discontinue the service. If we ever shut PackyGo down, we will give reasonable notice and a way to get your lists out first.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use PackyGo after that means you accept the new version.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent Dutch law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of PackyGo — including missed departures, spoiled trips, lost or forgotten belongings, or the cost of replacing something you did not pack.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for intent or gross negligence on our part, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. As PackyGo is provided free of charge, any liability that does arise is limited to putting the service right.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, or your right to bring a case where that law says you may.
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stands.
